Adopt a Pet

It is important that all our animals find permanent and loving homes.  Before making the decision to adopt a pet from the Susquehanna SPCA, consider the following:

  • Dogs and cats can live at least 10 to 15 years.  Adoption is a commitment.
  • Housetraining a dog or puppy can be challenging.
  • All cats and dogs require annual veterinary visits for check-ups and vaccinations.
  • They also need daily exercise and playtime; shelter, food and fresh water; and LOTS of love and patience.
